Palm Court host Prestigious Committee
On the 6th – 8th June Palm Court was delighted to welcome 62 members and wives of the prestigious Royal Smithfield Club Show Committee for their annual President’s weekend. The first time it has been held outside London. As part of the weekend Mr Brian Glaves, who is the first Yorkshire President for 40 years, took his committee on a tour of farms in the Scarborough area and the Wykeham Estate, before returning to the Palm Court for their special banquet.
Mr Glaves, who runs the award winning family farm, butchers and abattoir in nearby Brompton, was quoted in the Scarborough Evening News as saying “The Palm Court Hotel looked after us absolutely brilliantly”.
All at the Palm Court wish Brian a happy and successful Presidential Year.
